Job description

As an Inside Sales Representative, you are the main point of contact for our customers. Your primary goal is to ensure customer satisfaction while achieving commercial objectives.

  • Manage your own customer portfolio and act as the first point of contact, actively identifying customer needs and providing appropriate solutions

  • Seize every opportunity to increase sales through smart upselling, cross-selling, and promoting attractive offers

  • Ensure a smooth customer journey from quotation to delivery with efficient order processing and careful credit management

  • Deliver an excellent customer experience by proactively handling aftersales and resolving customer challenges quickly and professionally

  • Gather and share valuable market insights from customer interactions to help yourself and the team capitalize on commercial opportunities and refine sales strategies

  • Work closely with the field sales team to achieve sales results together

Job requirements

You have a commercial drive and are not afraid to pick up the phone. You enjoy closing deals but also value maintaining strong customer relationships, finding the right balance between the two on a daily basis.

  • Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week

  • Possess MBO+ (intermediate vocational) level of work and thinking

  • Proficient in Dutch or English, as well as an Asian language

  • Have experience in a similar role

  • Knowledgeable in MS Office

  • Have previous experience with SAP or are able to quickly learn to use it

From Landgraaf (Netherlands), we represent over 65 top Asian brands, such as YumYum and Flying Goose, and have strong own brand concepts like Golden Turtle for Chefs. Additionally, we offer Private Label concepts. We do this with a team of more than 450 collegues, 45 trucks on the road, and a diverse customer base ranging from ethnic stores and wholesalers to retail, foodservice, and industry.

The Inside Sales Ethnic department is responsible for serving one of our largest customer groups: Asian supermarkets and wholesalers. They act as the central point of contact for these customers. Since the customers are spread across Europe and often have an Asian background, communication within the department takes place in many different languages.
